a little bit about process.

I am thinking these recent pieces are leading to larger paintings incorporating some of these ideas and figures.  Or smaller tighter paintings.

These pieces are created quite quickly, sometimes in under an hour.  I start with the basic line structure and am using different brush applications and direction to develop or erase the line, trying to incorporate the form.

Using a palate knife for the application of the white, thinking this will be the basis of the glazing layers on the second application after drying.
