Dark Paper.......

Yesterday I printed on charcoal paper that was toned blue.......always the same problem with papers, the ink looks muddy and diffused.  This morning I started again with the Arches 88.......then rolled out blue to start.  The second layer was the initial marks with the dark blue color which gave the initial composition.  The final layer is the white overprint.

This was the first print I did before the one above.  Here I rolled up the blue and used the roller to create the white areas by wiping out.
